Spahm Sapm SPAM!

Usually I delete spam without doing more than glancing at the sender to ensure that no legitimate email went astray, but these caught my eye this morning:

Gilbert wants Coupons List 3 (I assume that's me), to get the car and credit [I] diserve

and Perscription Drug Danger awaits Vioxx users.

C'mon, how can I take these offers and warnings seriously if they obviously don't?

Comment Spam is annoying and I wish Blogger would find a way to rid us of that nasty problem. Word verification is an option, but I don't like that feature either, I don't want to subject the people who leave comments on my blog to going through an extra step. I'm usally pretty quick at deleting the spam, but I wish it would go away.

Crystal, seems like no matter what the spammers will find you. Word verification doesn't really bother me to use. It takes less time for me to type in a code than the amount of time you have to waste deleting spam.

JB, love that post of Meghan's! Thanks for sharing it. By the way, what in the world were you doing up at 5:30 am?

Yeah, I know how that is. I was afraid that you had to be up that early and being an anti-morning person myself, it just made me cringe.

I was the only night owl in a family of morning people. My grandpa actually thought something was wrong with me as a child because I would start getting really active when everyone else was winding down.
