Countdown to India 2005
It's official. We bought our tickets and we're going to India in December. We're flying into Delhi and flying home from Mumbai. Now we have to get our visas and innoculations, practice packing all our stuff in our backpacks and about a thousand other things.

Great! I hope you will enjoy your stay and if you are flying in to Delhi, barring very late hours, just outside the airport you will meet the traffic :) I read someone saying 'Indians use their horn as if they were breaks!'
Wow, this sounds awesome! You're gonna have a really great time and I hope you'll blog all about it. Have you been abroad before? India is definitely a place I'm hoping to visit sometime in the future.
p.s. My husband said to stock up on Immodium ;-)!
Mridula, I think I've heard that saying before!
We're really looking forward to this trip. We've both been to other countries, but never for so long or so far outside of our cultural comfort zone.
I plan to keep a written journal and blog as much as I can while I'm there, then use the journal to write a series of entries with pictures when we get back.
And yeah, Immodium is right near the top of our packing list!
