What kind of joke is this?

Can someone please tell me who ordered the snow? Because that person is dead to me. DEAD.

This is from two hours ago:

And this is now:

Stop laughing. Yesterday was warm and sunny and today we're getting snow. Sorry, mom. I didn't know when you called yesterday to ask about the weather that this was coming. Good news though; Accuweather says it won't last and they better be right, because I have to drive east on Sunday.

Seriously, stop laughing. There's a reason I don't live in Minnesota.

It never snows here! It looks so good in pictures, and no no no, do not hurl at me whatever is in your hand.

HA! It does look nice in pictures and if that's the only place I saw it I'd be happy. It doesn't usually snow here until January and when it does it makes travel a real nightmare.

We had "a white Thanksgiving" and I was surprised that the snow came so early this year. Ususally it's more like end of December.

It's very unusual to see snow this early here, also. And being out where we are, the roads are low priority with the state, so even a little snow causes a lot of accidents. I'd be perfectly happy if it just snowed in the mountains and left us alone in town.

Uh-oh! I hope you're safe and that this snow won't slow you down. Now that I'm living in California, I am happy to say I will not be seeing snow anytime soon! (sorry... but I've lived a lifetime in the midwest, and I've lived thru TOO many snowy seasons!)

The snow isn't nearly as bad as the ice, I always get so scared that I'll slip and break a leg.

p.s. I've relaunched my blog and the new title is "Wide Open Wonder", link: http://www.wideopenwonder.blogspot.com

Sorry for the inconvenience~~~

Oh yeah, I don't miss that white stuff at all. The last straw for me was one morning a few years ago, back in Montana, I got up early on my mom's birthday to give her a call. I looked out the window and saw snow covering my car, the rooftops, the trees, everything. Why was this such a big deal? My mom's birthday is in June.

Yeah, yeah Mo. Don't rub it in. :) I also have never lived in the Midwest...on purpose.

Crystal, thanks for the update on your new address. I wondered where you were earlier. They don't usually clear the roads around here, so the combination of deep ditches, steep hills, and shady trees can make for some exciting driving experiences.

Holy cow, BPW. I'll add Montana to my list of places to not live.

The older I get (not that I'm exactly old, but the birthdays keep coming) the more I prefer warmer weather, or at least not having to deal with snow. The problem around here is that we get so little, no one knows how to deal with it when it comes.

Anywho, I won't have to worry about it until next year. Yay! And...thanks!
