Yep, it's an extensive multi-level network of rooms and tunnels that are all open for exploring. We had five kids with us, so we spent a lot of time making sure they didn't fall off the ladders and cannons.

I visited Whidbey Island a lot as a kid, but I never did check out Fort Casey. Was it a sort of self-guided tour?
